Thank you for supporting my work. Please read through these policies before purchasing — if you have any questions, I’m always happy to help before you buy.
Intellectual Property
All rights to artwork created by Olivia Catherine remain my sole property after purchase. This includes originals, commissions, and any current or future reproductions of any kind.
The purchase of any item does not grant permission to mint the piece as an NFT, print and distribute in any form, or reproduce the work in any way — whether for profit or otherwise — without my explicit written permission.
Collectors may not reproduce artwork in any form without express written permission from me.
Sharing photos of your purchase on social media is always welcome and does not breach this policy.
Customer Responsibility
Please read all product descriptions thoroughly and carefully before completing your purchase. Dimensions, materials, and all relevant details are listed in each product description. It is the buyer’s responsibility to review this information prior to purchase. I am not able to offer compensation for issues arising from information that was clearly provided in the listing.
All Sales Are Final
Every painting I sell is an original, one-of-a-kind work of art. Because of this, all sales are final. I do not accept returns or offer refunds for:
- Change of mind
- The artwork not matching your décor or expectations
- Color differences between your screen and the physical painting — colors can vary depending on your monitor settings and lighting conditions
- Size assumptions — please review all dimensions listed in the product description carefully before purchasing
If you have any questions about a piece before buying, please reach out through the contact page — I’m happy to share additional photos or answer anything.
Liability
Once your order has been delivered and is in your possession, I am not liable for any damage caused by mishandling, improper storage, or improper display of the artwork. This includes but is not limited to scratching, denting, warping, or any other damage that occurs after delivery.
I am not responsible for packages that are lost or undeliverable due to an incorrect or incomplete shipping address provided at checkout. Please double-check your address carefully before placing your order. If a package is returned to me due to an incorrect address, I will contact you to arrange reshipment at your expense. If you request a refund in this scenario, the original shipping cost will be deducted.
Damaged Items
I package every painting carefully to help ensure it arrives safely. If your artwork arrives damaged, please contact me within 7 days of delivery at contact@oliviacatherineart.com
with:
- Your order number
- Clear photos of the damage to the artwork
- Photos of the packaging, including any visible exterior damage to the box
Please hold onto all original packaging materials until the matter is fully resolved — they may be needed for a shipping carrier claim.
Because originals cannot be replaced, I handle each situation individually and offer a resolution at my discretion. This may include a partial or full refund. Damage reported after 7 days of delivery cannot be considered for a refund.
Commissions
Deposit: A 50% non-refundable deposit is required before I begin any commission. The remaining 50% is due upon completion, before the piece is shipped.
Process: I share progress photos at key stages and welcome your feedback throughout. Commissions are a collaboration — I want you to love the final piece. Major changes to the originally agreed concept after work has begun may incur additional fees.
Cancellations: If you cancel after work has begun, the deposit is non-refundable. If I am unable to complete your commission for any reason, I will refund all payments made in full.
Timeline: Timelines vary depending on the size and complexity of the piece. I’ll give you an estimate at the start and keep you updated along the way.
Copyright: I retain full copyright over all commissioned work. You receive the physical painting only — this does not include the right to reproduce, print, mint as an NFT, or distribute the image in any form.
Shipping
All artwork is carefully packaged to ensure safe delivery. Shipping costs and estimated delivery times are shown at checkout.
Once a package is handed to the carrier, delivery timelines are outside my control. I am not responsible for delays caused by the carrier or circumstances beyond my control.
If you need to update your shipping address, please contact me as soon as possible — ideally within 24 hours of your order — as I cannot redirect a package once it has shipped.
Payments
Payments are processed securely through WooPayments (powered by Stripe), which also supports Google Pay and Apple Pay. PayPal is also accepted. I do not store your full card details on my servers.
